Anne Arundel County

 

• Northbound I-97 between Benfield Boulevard and New Cut Road– Two left lanes closed on NB I-97 between New Cut Road and MD 176 ramp to northbound I-97 – right ramp lane closed beginning Friday, October 12 at 10 p.m.  All lanes open by 5 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2012.  New concrete will be placed and the lanes must remain closed until the concrete cures.

Baltimore County

• Southbound I-95 at I-195– Bridge deck replacement – Friday and Saturday nights, beginning at 10 p.m.  All lanes open 6 a.m. the following mornings.

• I-195 Bridge over CSX Tracks – Routine bridge inspection – Beginning Saturday, October 13 at 5:00 a.m. Alternating single right and left lane closures on eastbound I-195 from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. then alternating single lane closures on westbound I-195 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

• Inner loop I-695 ramp to eastbound MD 122 (Security Boulevard) – Utility work (BGE)-ramp closes at 1 a.m. Saturday, October 13 and will re-open to traffic by 5 a.m., Monday, October 15.  Ramp detour will be in effect.

• Northbound MD 147 (Harford Road) ramp to the inner loop I-695- temporary ramp closure for drainage maintenance on Sunday, October 14 from 4 a.m. until 12 noon for drainage cleaning.

•I-95 north between Baltimore/Howard line and the Baltimore County/City line in southwestern Baltimore County.  Temporary lane closures begin Sunday night, October 14.  Concrete patching project—single lane closures along northbound I-95 beginning at 7 p.m., double lane closures begin at 9 p.m., and the potential for triple lane closures beginning at 12 midnight.  All lanes open by 5 a.m. Monday, October 15. Crews will temporarily close the ramp from northbound I-95 to the inner loop (westbound) I-695 11 pm- 5 am, Monday, October 15.

Frederick County

• US 15 at Mountville Road– Intersection improvement project – Alternating traffic through intersection using a flagging operation on Saturday, October 13 from at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.  Click here for news release.

Howard County

• MD 175 over I-95 – Routine bridge inspection – Begins Saturday, October 13 at 4:30 a.m.  Expect double right and left lane closures on southbound I-95.  All lanes open by 11:30 a.m. 

Montgomery County

• I-495 (Capital Beltway) over Macarthur Blvd and Clara Barton Pkwy -- Routine bridge inspection -- single right lane closure on the outer loop I-495 from 4:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 13.

Prince George’s County

• Eastbound US 50 between MD 197 (Collington Road) and MD 3/US 301 (Crain Highway) – Concrete patching.  Begins Friday, October 12 at 9 p.m. with the HOV lane closure beginning at 9 p.m. and the left standard lane at 1 a.m. Saturday and possible triple lane closures near 2 a.m.  All lanes will re-open by 8 a.m. Sunday morning, October 14.  (Should the Nationals play at home, the work will occur later in the evening to accommodate stadium traffic).

• US 50 between the Washington D.C. line to the Town of Cheverly – Concrete patching.  Work will begin on Sunday, October 14 at 9 p.m. on eastbound US 50 from the D.C. line.  All lanes will re-open by 5 a.m. Monday, October 15. Work will be conducted in lanes least impacted by sporting event traffic.

• Northbound US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) between Albion Road and the Paint Branch Bridge – Resurfacing project.  Expect right lane closure beginning Sunday night, October 14 from 8:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, October 15.

Queen Anne’s County

• Westbound US 50 over US 301 – Bridge rehabilitation project--left lane closed on westbound US 50.  On Sunday, October 14, beginning at 9 p.m.—ALL northbound lanes along US 301 will be closed and re-opened again by 5 a.m. Monday, October 15.  Click here for news release with detour routes.
