(September 26, 2011) – Repairs will soon be made to both the bridge deck driving surface and some overhead lights on the Chester River Bridge (MD 213) that connects Kent and Queen Anne’s counties. 

While weather dependent, the State Highway Administration (SHA) bridge project starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 29 and will be completed by 6 a.m. the following morning. A few lights will be replaced that are not currently operating properly.

The $10,000 bridge project was awarded to Brawner Builders, Inc. of Hunt Valley. SHA crews will use variable message signs, cones and barrels together with a flagging operation to guide motorists through the work zone.
