(March 25, 2011) - On Saturday morning, March 26, the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) will close a lane on I-495 West (Capital Beltway) in Silver Spring to perform a routine bridge inspection of the Northwest Branch bridge. 

 

Crews will close the right lane and transition lane on the Outer Loop between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. on westbound I-495 (Outer Loop) Bridge over the Northwest Branch between MD 193 and MD 650.  All work is weather permitting; the lane closure is necessary to ensure worker and motorist safety.
