(August 13, 2010) - Beginning 9 a.m. Monday, August 16, the State Highway Administration (SHA) will perform storm-related repairs to the ramp from southbound I-83 to Exit 31 (Middletown Road). 

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the ramp will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.  Motorists who wish to access Middletown Road from southbound I-83 will be detoured to the Mount Carmel Road exit (Exit 27), through the interchange, to northbound I-83 and back to Middletown Road.    

Weather permitting, the repair work will be complete Wednesday afternoon, August 18.  This work is a result of storm damage.  Citizens who have questions about traffic operations on I-83 or other State numbered routes in Baltimore County may call SHA’s District 4 Office – Maintenance Division at 410-229-2360 or toll free at 1-866-998-0367.
