(August 29, 2008) – As part of the State’s ongoing highway maintenance program, the Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) and its contractor, Gray & Son, Inc. of Timonium, are moving forward on a highway maintenance project to resurface US 40 (Pulaski Highway) between the MD 24 (Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway) overpass and Long Bar Harbor Road.

The project is underway and the contractor’s crews may institute temporary lane closures, flagging operations, and traffic shifts along MD 24 anytime on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The $765,000 highway maintenance project will be completed by early September, weather permitting.

SHA and the contractor appreciate your patience during the highway resurfacing work, and advise motorists to plan for extra travel time through the work zone.
