(UPDATE) - Work postponed until April 13 due to weather forecast).
SHA’s contractor, P. Flanigan & Sons, Inc. of Baltimore, will patch, re-stripe and update all pavement markings on Frederick Road. Motorists should expect single lane closures between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Traffic will be guided through the work zone with flaggers, cones and barrels. Approximately 8,000 vehicles travel along this section of Frederick Road each day.
The spring and summer construction season is getting into high-gear. For a Statewide listing of most SHA projects,

While SHA and its partners work hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones, each driver needs to actively modify his or her driving style to help prevent crashes. Stay alert – look for reduced speed limits, narrow driving lanes, and highway workers. Slow down and don't follow too closely. Safer Driving. Safer Work Zones. For Everyone!
