Anne Arundel County

• UPDATE: MD 295 (Baltimore Washington Parkway) at West Nursery Road – removing old bridge and moving new bridge into place.  MD 295 and West Nursery Road are now open.

 

• Northbound I-97 between Benfield Boulevard and MD 176 (Dorsey Road) – Single left lane closed on northbound I-97 between Benfield Boulevard and MD 176 beginning Friday, October 19 at 10 p.m.  All lanes open by 5 a.m. Monday, October 22.  New concrete will be placed and the lanes must remain closed until the concrete cures.

 

• US 50 over southbound I-97 – Routine bridge inspection - alternating single right and left lane closures on southbound I-97 from 5:30 a.m. to 12 noon Sunday, October 21.

Baltimore County

• Southbound I-95 at I-195– Bridge deck replacement –Saturday and Sunday, October 20 and 21.  Single lane closures begin at 9 p.m.—double lane closures at 10 p.m.  All lanes open by 5 a.m. the following mornings. NOTE—due to planned total closure of MD 295 at West Nursery Road, project engineers will evaluate traffic on Saturday night and if traffic is heavy, project will be delayed.

 

• I-95 between Howard County line and Baltimore City:

Pavement patching continues on northbound I-95.  Work will take place Sunday thru Thursdays.  The limits are NB & SB I-95 from the Howard County Line (Patapsco River Bridge) to the Baltimore City Line.  Sunday, October 21 through Thursday, October 25.  Two right lanes beginning with single lane closure at 7 p.m.  Triple right lane closures are possible between 12 midnight and 4 a.m.

• Northbound and Southbound I-795 between I-695 and Owings Mills:

 

Weekends:  Sunday, October 21 at 7 p.m. - single lane closure, double lane closures after 10 p.m. All lanes open by 5 a.m. Monday, October 22. 

 

Weekdays: Monday – Friday-9 a.m. – 3 p.m. – single lane closures

 

Weeknights: Sunday – Thursday from 7 p.m. – 5 a.m. the next morning.  If needed, double lane closures after 10 p.m.

• MD 139 (Charles Street) resurfacing between Kenilworth Drive and I-695:  9 p.m. Sunday, October 21 – 5 a.m. Monday, October 22 -- Paving with lane closures on Charles Street in the vicinity of the interchange.  

• I-695/MD 122 (Security Blvd):

 

BGE will close the ramp from the inner loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) to westbound Security Boulevard (MD 122) at Exit 17 from 10 p.m Friday, October 19 until 5 a.m. Monday, October 22 to restore concrete pavement on the ramp after recent gas line repairs underneath the ramp. 
Detour: Motorists traveling from northbound I-695 to westbound Security Boulevard will be directed to the following detour: bear right on ramp and take Security Boulevard east; turn left onto Woodlawn Drive; turn left onto Whitehead Road; turn right onto westbound Security Blvd.

Harford County

• MD 715 (Short Lane) at (Aberdeen Proving Ground) APG Gate:

 

APG is temporarily closing the Maryland Gate at the end of southbound MD 755 (Short Lane/ Maryland Boulevard) this weekend (6 p.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Sunday) to conduct unexploded ordinance (UXO) surveys adjacent to MD 715, and the Maryland Gate.  Ruggles Golf Course will stay open. 

Detour: All visitors, golfers, and deliveries on southbound MD 715 will be U-turned at Cirelli Court and directed onto eastbound US 40 to eastbound MD 22 (Aberdeen Throughway/Harford Blvd.) to the Harford Gate. 

  
NOTE: Maryland Gate closures will take place every weekend (rain or shine) until early-mid November per APG.

Frederick County

• I-270 between MD 80 and MD 109 – Paving

o Southbound right lane closed between 9 p.m. Friday, October 19, and 7 a.m. Saturday, October 20
o Northbound left lane closed between 10 p.m. Friday, October 19, and 7 a.m., Saturday, October 20
o Northbound right lane closed Sunday, October 21, between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m.  

 

Montgomery County

 

• Comus Road over I-270—Routine bridge inspection- alternating single right and left lane closures on northbound I-270 from 4:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Sunday- then alternating single closures on southbound I-270 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

 

• Southbound MD 355 (Rockville Pike) near Tuckerman Lane – Resurfacing -- double left lane (overnight) closure on Friday, October 19 from 9 p.m. to Saturday, October 20 at 2 p.m.

Prince George’s County

• Eastbound US 50 between MD 197 (Collington Road) and MD 3/US 301 (Crain Highway) – Concrete patching.  Beginning Friday, October 19 at 9 p.m. with a single right lane closure beginning at 9 p.m., two right lanes at 10 p.m. and triple right lane closures at 11 p.m.  All lanes will re-open by 8 a.m. Sunday morning, October 21. 

• US 50 between the Washington D.C. line to the Town of Cheverly – Concrete patching.  Work will begin on Sunday, October 21 at 9 p.m. on the right lane along eastbound US 50 from the D.C. line.  All lanes will re-open by 5 a.m. Monday, October 22
      
Queen Anne’s County
• Westbound US 50 over US 301 – Bridge rehabilitation project--left lane closed on westbound US 50.  On Sunday, October 21, beginning at 9 p.m.—ALL northbound lanes along US 301 will be closed and re-opened again by 5 a.m. Monday, October 22.  The week ahead will include overnight US 301 closures to remove old steel beams.  More details to come.
