WHAT:
The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) is hosting an informational public meeting to inform Rosedale-area residents and businesses about an ongoing SHA safety improvement study of the US 40 (Pulaski Highway) corridor in southeastern Baltimore County.

WHEN:
Thursday, February 9 between 6 and 8:00 p.m. (Presentation Time - 6:30 p.m.)

WHERE:
Baltimore County Public Library Rosedale Branch - Meeting Room
6105 Kenwood Avenue, Rosedale, MD 21237

WHY:
Local residents and elected officials have expressed concerns regarding pedestrian safety along the US 40 corridor, particularly the US 40 intersections with Chesaco Avenue and Todds Lane in Rosedale.  During the past year, SHA traffic engineers have conducted a corridor safety study that includes the intersections of US 40 / Lorraine/Lawrence Avenue and US 40 / Batavia Farm Road.

At the meeting, SHA traffic engineers will provide an update on the study and formally present results of SHA’s detailed engineering analysis, which includes proposed improvements to US 40 at Lorraine Avenue and Batavia Farm Road.  SHA invites the public to attend the meeting, view a presentation, and provide comments and feedback on the study results and proposed improvements.
