(July 26, 2011) – The State Highway Administration (SHA) is improving pavement on MD 151 (North Point Boulevard) between MD 157 (Merritt Boulevard) and Cove Road in Baltimore County on Sunday night, July 31.  This $1.4 million project is part of SHA’s ongoing highway maintenance program. 

All pavement work will be performed weeknights between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. and between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturdays.  During the project, temporary single lane closures are permitted.  The project will be complete early fall, weather permitting.  The State’s contractor is M.T. Laney Co., Inc. of Eldersburg.

While SHA and its transportation partners work hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones, each driver needs to actively modify his or her driving style to help prevent crashes.
