STATE HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE LANES ALONG BUS. US 50 AND BUS. US 13 IN SALISBURY

(October 28, 2010) -- Tonight, the Maryland Department of Transportation's State Highway Administration (SHA) will reduce US 13 Business to one lane in each direction across the US 50 Business Bridge and will close US 50 Business in both directions at the bridge for 15-minute intervals between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m.  Crews are placing steel beams on the US 13 Business (Ocean Highway/Salisbury Boulevard) Bridge over US 50 Business (Ocean Gateway/Salisbury Parkway) in Salisbury.  
 
Lane reductions will begin at 7 p.m.  Crane operations that will require 15-minute closures of US 50 Business will take place between 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.  Work should be completed and all travel lanes open by 6 a.m. Friday morning, October 29, weather permitting.
