All three projects will be complete by late November, weather permitting. Crews will perform a $950,000 project to mill and pave eastbound and westbound US 40 (Pulaski Highway) from MD 152 (Mountain Road) to MD 24 in Edgewood. Motorists can expect overnight single-lane closures Sundays through Thursdays, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., and single-lane closures on weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through mid-November. Gray and Son, Inc. of Timonium is the State Highway Administration’s contractor. Beginning as soon as Monday morning, October 13, contractor crews will perform a $66,000 project for roadside grading along the 1100 block of MD 136 (Harkins Road) just west of MD 24 (Rocks Road) near Pylesville. Motorists can expect daytime single-lane closures with flagging operations on this section of MD 136 on weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through late October. Concrete General, Inc. of Gaithersburg is the contractor. Starting as soon as Wednesday night, October 15, contractor crews will start a $384,000 project to patch sections of pavement along MD 924 (Main Street/Rock Spring Road) from Broadway to MD 24/ US 1 Business in Bel Air. Motorists can expect overnight single-lane closures with flagging operations on this section of MD 924 on weeknights (Sunday through Thursday) 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. through late November.
