(May 23, 2024) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will host a public open house, 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, for a project along MD 210 (Indian Head Highway) at Palmer Road/Livingston Road and Old Fort Road. The open house will be at Friendly High School, 10000 Allentown Road, Fort Washington.

The State Highway Administration is conducting this project as part of a coordinated series of initiatives along the MD 210 corridor. The goal is to improve safety, mobility and travel times for roadway users.

Other initiatives include the MD 210 Pedestrian Bicycle Connectivity Project in Fort Washington/Oxon Hill and the Livingston Road and Kirby Hill Road Project in Oxon Hill/Glassmanor. While each section is being addressed separately, they will work in tandem to create a safer, more reliable corridor for all users.
