​Project Team to Share Design Refinements and Collect Public Input 

(April 23, 2024) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will host a public open house, 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, to share information on the design for the interchange at I-795 (Northwest Expressway) and Dolfield Boulevard in Owings Mills, Baltimore County. The open house will be held in the cafeteria at New Town High School, 4931 New Town Blvd., Owings Mills.

The State Highway Administration has refined an original design for the interchange from 2015 to minimize environmental impacts and improve safety, traffic operations and access to local roads. The project team is seeking public input on the design, which aims to improve pedestrian, bicycle and vehicle access along Dolfield Boulevard, enhance safety and capacity along I-795 and provide access to the commercial growth planned along Red Run Boulevard.

During the open house, attendees can view design details along with maps and displays that highlight the proposed improvements. There will be no formal presentation. State Highway Administration representatives will be on hand to answer project-related questions. This event is an open-house format, and the public is encouraged to attend any time between 5-7 p.m. More details on the I-795 at Dolfield Boulevard Interchange Project can be found here.
