Weekday Single- and Double-Lane Closures Expected Through Year-End

(November 2, 2023) – The State Highway Administration will resurface MD 410 (Riverdale Road) between MD 201 (Kenilworth Avenue) and MD 295 (Baltimore Washington Parkway) in Riverdale Park beginning Monday, November 6. This work will be complete by the end of the year, weather permitting.

Milling will be performed overnights, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. – 5 a.m. Paving will occur weekdays, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Drivers can expect single- and double-lane closures in both directions on MD 410. This project is part of a four-mile span of roadway improvements that includes segments on MD 193 (University Boulevard) and MD 201 (Kenilworth Avenue) in both Montgomery and Prince George’s counties.

The State Highway Administration’s contractor Allan Myers, of Fallston, will use flaggers, cones, barrels, and arrow boards to safely guide motorists through the work zones. The State Highway Administration understands the roadwork will inconvenience some travelers and asks all motorists to please stay alert and be patient as you pass through the work zone.

Customers who have questions may contact the District 3 Office at 301-513-7300 or toll-free at 1-800-749-0737.
