SHA representatives will be available to answer questions and discuss project issues, timeline and detour information. No formal presentation will be given. Citizens may arrive at any time and walk through at their own pace.
WHEN:

(Arrive at any time. There is no formal presentation.)
WHERE:

WHY:
On average, the MD 33 Bridge carries more than 12,000 vehicles per day across Oak Creek and through the town of Newcomb. The bridge, originally constructed in 1965, though structurally safe, is showing signs of deterioration. To improve the quality of the structure, SHA will replace several concrete slabs comprising the span over the boating channel. This work is part of SHA’s bridge preservation and replacement program aimed at maintaining the integrity and safety of state structures. Construction is scheduled to begin winter (2009-2010), and is estimated to be complete within 10 weeks.
