(May 26, 2022) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will perform routine inspections tonight into Friday morning, May 26-27, on the southbound I-83 ramp to the inner loop of I-695/MD 139 (Charles Street), in Baltimore County. The bridge inspection is weather permitting.

From 9 p.m. tonight to 5 a.m. Friday, one lane will be closed at this location to allow crews to safely perform the bridge inspection. Overnight travelers should plan accordingly.

MDOT SHA works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving and look for reduced speed limits as well as other driving pattern changes. Please drive like you work here and slow down in construction zones. Motorists in need may dial #77 on their mobile device for roadside assistance.
