​Daytime Paving Work Begins April 20 and Continues Through Late May 

(April 19, 2022) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will begin a project on Wednesday, April 20, to mill and resurface asphalt pavement on westbound US 40 (Pulaski Highway) in southeastern Baltimore County. Contractor crews will work between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, along 1.2 miles of westbound US 40 from Campbell Boulevard to MD 700 (Martin Boulevard).    

The $600,000 project is scheduled for completion in late May, weather permitting. Temporary traffic signs, reflective barrels and electronic arrow boards will alert and guide motorists through the work zone. MDOT SHA contractor Gray and Son Inc., of Timonium, is handling the paving project.     

MDOT SHA works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers.  Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving, and look for reduced speed limits, as well as other driving pattern changes. Please drive like you work here and slow down in construction zones.
