At 5 p.m. Sunday, crews will close two lanes on the Outer Loop of I-95/I-495 from Exit 9, Forestville Road, to Exit 11, MD 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue). Two through lanes will be maintained during the work.

This northbound deck pour is part of the $36 million I-95/I-495 bridge replacement project over Suitland Parkway, which is expected to be complete by the end of 2021. For more information, visit the Project Portal Site.

MDOT SHA works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving and, look for reduced speed limits, as well as other driving pattern changes. Drive like you work here and slow-down in construction zones.
