MEDIA BRIEFING and SITE VISIT previewing May 15th Dedication Ceremony for the second Woodrow Wilson Bridge, as well as upcoming traffic switches on the Capital Beltway and the new bridge.

DEDICATION CEREMONY          
- Access and parking at the May 15th Dedication Ceremony          
- Security and credentialing           
- Overview of program agenda and walk-through of site layout          
- Interview and photo opportunities with dignitaries including U.S. Secretary of Transportation Mary Peters, MD Governor Martin O’Malley, VA Governor Tim Kaine and DC Mayor Adrian Fenty          
- On-site logistics including best vantage points for covering ceremony          
          
An escorted site visit will follow the briefing. Transportation provided to a limited number on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please dress appropriately for construction site including long pants and hard soled shoes.          
          
TRAFFIC CHANGES          
- Overview of upcoming traffic changes that will affect local drivers in and around the Wilson Bridge Project area including:          
- A major shift in alignment of the Beltway’s Outer Loop lanes in Virginia occurring over the weekend of May 9          
- Switching of traffic onto the new Wilson Bridge over the weekend of May 30
