STATE HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION TO REPAIR SECTION OF MD 543 (ADY ROAD) IN NORTHERN HARFORD COUNTY

Single Lane Closures and Flagging Operations in Effect Weekdays 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. through Mid-August; Motorists Advised to Plan for Extra Travel Time           
          
(July 14, 2008) – As part of the State’s ongoing highway maintenance program, the Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) will be performing roadway patching operations along approximately nine miles of MD 543 (Ady Road) between US 1 Business (Conowingo Road) and MD 165 (Pylesville Road). Work will begin on or about Tuesday, July 15, and is slated for completion in mid-August, weather permitting.          
          
Single lane closures and flagging operations will take place along sections of MD 543 weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The State’s contractor is Gray and Son, Inc. of Timonium.          
          
SHA and the contractor appreciate your patience during the construction period. For your safety and the safety of the traveling public, please plan ahead for extra travel time and look ahead for lane closures and flagging operations. Please use caution when entering and exiting side streets and driveways within the highway work zone.
