The Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) is suspending all non-emergency lane closures beginning 5 a.m. Friday, July 1st until 9 p.m. Tuesday in observance of the July 4th weekend.
Wicomico County
•
MD 349 (Nanticoke Road) between Oliver Drive and Rockawalkin Road – Road washout/pipe repair – Road closed and detoured until August.

Baltimore County
• Southbound I-83 between MD 137 (Mt. Carmel Road) and Shawan Road –
Resurfacing – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays after 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Saturdays between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m.
• Campbell Boulevard between Honeygo Boulevard and Franklin Square Drive (MDTA project) –
Express toll lane construction – Single lane closures starting June 13 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays until late-August.
Garrett County
• I-68 (National Freeway) between US 219 and Shade Hollow Road – Resurfacing – Single lane closures from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Montgomery County
• MD 193 (University Boulevard) between Williamsburg Drive and Franklin Avenue (MD 193 Bridge over I-495) –
Final resurfacing of bridge replacement project – Single and double lane closures from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. until the end of July.
• Inner loop of I-495 (Capital Beltway) between the I-270 west spur and Seminary Road –
Resurfacing – Two lanes closed from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
