What: SHA will host an Informational Open House for the MD 589           
(Racetrack Road) Corridor Feasibility Study, which is investigating potential transportation improvements between US 113 (Worcester Highway) and US 50 (Ocean Gateway) in Ocean Pines, Worcester County. Display areas will be set up to explain the purpose of the study and outline key issues. You may arrive and walk through at your own pace; no formal presentation will be given.          
          
When: Thursday, September 18, 2008 – 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.          
          
Where: Stephen Decatur Middle School – Cafeteria 9815 Seahawk Road, Berlin, MD 21811          
          
Why: Transportation improvements associated with this project would relieve traffic congestion and improve traffic safety along the mainline of MD 589 and at the US 50 intersection.
