Public Encouraged to Attend & Learn about Upcoming Improvements In Designated Growth and Business Area

SHA will host an informational meeting on the proposed improvements at the MD 5 Business (Leonardtown Road) at MD 925 (Old Washington Road) intersection in Waldorf, Charles County.  Area residents, business owners, and highway users are encouraged to attend, learn more about upcoming plans for the intersection, and provide feedback to the project team.

Improvements will begin in summer 2013, and will include adding an exclusive right-turn lane at the intersection.  Crews will also upgrade sidewalk to ensure ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance.  The SHA project team will present an overview of the project.  Display boards will be available for review.
