Anne Arundel County

 

• MD 295 (Baltimore -Washington Parkway) at West Nursery Road – Removing old bridge and moving new bridge into place.  *DELAYED BECAUSE OF HURRICANE SANDY.*

 

Baltimore County

 

• Southbound I-95 at I-195– Bridge deck replacement –Saturday and Sunday, October 27 and 28.  Single lane closures begin at 9 p.m. - double lane closures at 10 p.m.  All lanes open by 5 a.m. the following mornings. NOTE - due to planned total closure of MD 295 at West Nursery Road, project engineers will evaluate traffic on Saturday night and if traffic is heavy, the I-95 project will be delayed.

 

• Northbound and Southbound I-795 between I-695 and Owings Mills: Concrete Patching (No weekend work for this week.)

 

Weekdays: Monday – Friday-9 a.m. – 3 p.m. – single lane closures

 

Weeknights: Sunday – Thursday from 7 p.m. – 5 a.m. the next morning.  If needed, double lane closures after 10 p.m.

Harford County

• MD 715 (Short Lane) at (Aberdeen Proving Ground) APG Gate:

APG is temporarily closing the Maryland Gate at the end of southbound MD 755 (Short Lane/ Maryland Boulevard) this weekend (6 p.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Sunday) to conduct unexploded ordinance (UXO) surveys adjacent to MD 715, and the Maryland Gate.  Ruggles Golf Course will remain open. 

Detour: All visitors, golfers, and deliveries on southbound MD 715 will be u-turned at Cirelli Court and directed onto eastbound US 40 to eastbound MD 22 (Aberdeen Throughway/Harford Blvd.) to the Harford Gate.   

Frederick County  

 

• Motorists on eastbound I-70 will notice changes near the bridges over South Street in Frederick this weekend as SHA shifts eastbound I-70 traffic onto the new bridge and reopens the eastbound on and off ramps for South Street.  Weather permitting, crews will shift eastbound I-70 traffic onto the new bridge and lanes on Friday night, October 26 into Saturday morning, October 27. This shift will require traffic on I-70 to be temporarily reduced to a single lane beginning at 8 p.m. Friday and continuing through mid-morning Saturday. The rain date for this shift is Saturday night into Sunday morning.

• Northbound I-270 between Dr. Perry Road and MD 80 (Fingerboard Road) - Resurfacing-right lane closed beginning at 10 p.m., Friday, October 26 to 7 a.m., Saturday, October 27.

 

Montgomery County

 

• I-270 over eastbound I-370 ramp – Routine bridge inspection - Saturday, October 27 - Alternating double left and right lane closures on eastbound I-370 from 4:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

 

• Southbound MD 355 (Rockville Pike) over the outer loop I-495 (Capital Beltway) – Routine bridge inspection – Sunday, October 28—Double left lane closure then single right lane from 4:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Prince George’s County

 

• Northbound I-95/495 (Capital Beltway) at MD 201 (Kenilworth Avenue) – Bridge rehabilitation. Saturday, October 27 from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

 

• Eastbound US 50 (John Hansen Highway) between the Washington D.C. line and the Town of Cheverly—Resurfacing. Sunday, October 28 (overnight) from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, October 29.

 

• Eastbound US 50 between MD 197 (Collington Road) and MD 3 (Crain Highway). Concrete patching. Work begins Friday, October 26 from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Sunday, October 28.

 

• Eastbound and Westbound MD 410 (East West Highway) between MD 650 (New Hampshire Avenue) and MD 212 (Riggs Road). Concrete bus pad construction—Friday, October 26 at 8 p.m. through 10 a.m. Sunday, October 28.

 

• Eastbound and westbound MD 450 (Annapolis Road) between 54th Street and 65th Avenue. Resurfacing. Sunday, October 28 (overnight) from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, October 29.

 

• Southbound MD 202 (Largo Road) from Homestead Drive to the entrance of Prince George’s Community College. Concrete bus pad construction at MD 202 and Kettering Drive. Shoulder and single lane closure from Friday, October 26 at 8 p.m. to 12 noon Saturday, October 27th. Shoulder closure only from 12 noon Saturday, October 27th to 12 noon Sunday October 28.

 

Queen Anne’s County

 

• Westbound US 50 over US 301 – Bridge rehabilitation project-left lane closed on westbound US 50.
