Updates on Recommended Alternative Will Be Provided          
          
Who: State Highway Administration (SHA) representatives

What: SHA will hold an open house to discuss the progress of the MD 197 Planning Study. While no formal presentation will be given, displays will be available. SHA representatives will be on hand to answer questions.           
          
When: Tuesday, March 24, 2009, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.          
          
Where: Bowie City Hall – Multipurpose Room          
2614 Kenhill Drive, Bowie, MD 20715          
          
Why: The MD 197 (Collington Road) Planning study seeks to identify improvements between Kenhill Drive and MD 450 Relocated (Annapolis Road) in Bowie, Prince George’s County. Updates on the study and findings to date from the environmental and engineering analyses for the recommended alternative (Alternative 4 Modified: Four Lane Divided) will be presented. Next steps will be outlined; public feedback is strongly encouraged.
