SHA SCHEDULES MEETING FOR WESTBOUND US 50 BRIDGE REHABILITATION PROJECT IN QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY

WHAT:   
Next week the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) is hosting an public informational meeting to inform interested persons about an upcoming project to rehabilitate the westbound US 50 bridge over US 301 in Queen Anne’s County.  SHA plans to replace the deteriorated concrete bridge deck and steel beams in fall 2012.
Display areas will be available to illustrate the project and SHA staff will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.  Attendees may arrive at any time and walk through at their own pace; there will be no formal presentation.

Wednesday, December 14 between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. (Snow Date - Wednesday, January 4, 2012)

Grasonville Elementary School – Cafeteria

WHY: 
As part of next year’s project, SHA will have traffic pattern changes along this section of westbound US 50.  Area residents and businesses are encouraged to attend and learn more about the proposed phases of construction.
