(November 22, 2011) – Just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday, the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) opened the southbound US 29 (Columbia Pike) ramp to eastbound MD 175 (Little Patuxent Parkway) in Columbia, Howard County.

SHA closed the ramp in August as part of its $1.3 million project to resurface the eastbound and westbound MD 175 bridges over US 29.  Remaining work includes painting the girders and roadway pavement markings which should be complete by spring 2012.

Those who have questions about traffic operations on MD 175, US 29, or other state numbered routes in Howard County may call SHA’s District 7 Office at 301-624-8100 or toll free at 1-800-635-5119.
