Media tour of the second segment (Georgia Avenue to I-95) of the Intercounty Connector (ICC)/MD 200, scheduled to open Nov. 22, weather permitting

Wednesday, November 9 from 10:30 a.m. to Noon

Where:
Meet at the Project Office, 11710 Beltsville Drive, MD 20705 Arrive 15 minutes early – 10:15 a.m. - to be issued safety gear.
Bus leaves promptly at 10:30 a.m. and returns at Noon.
The tour is RAIN OR SHINE.
Why:
This is your opportunity to see the next 11 miles of ICC before it opens to traffic and to talk directly with project staff. No individual tours will be offered. Tours after the road opens will not be possible.
Apparel:
All attendees must wear closed-toe, hard-soled shoes. Boots are highly recommended.
All participants will be loaned a hard hat, safety vest and goggles, which must be worn on the construction site.
RSVP:
Credentialed media representatives are welcome. All attendees must RSVP; if a reporter and photographer are coming, both must be registered.
