Work Requires Daytime Single-Lane Closures and Flagging Operations
(April 21, 2022) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will begin a project on Monday, April 24, to resurface MD 346 (Old Ocean City Road) between Guilford Avenue and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury. Weather permitting, the project should be completed by mid-May.
Crews will work 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists can expect single-lane closures, lane shifts and flagging operations. Contractor Allan Myers, of Fallston, will use arrow boards and cones to guide traffic safely through the work zone.
The State Highway Administration understands roadwork can be an inconvenience to drivers and will make every effort to safely expedite the work. Drivers are asked to stay alert and focus on safety in the work zone. Motorists in need may dial #77 on their mobile device for roadside assistance.
