• I-83 (Baltimore-Harrisburg Expressway) North and South Bridges over Padonia Road – Dual Bridge replacement and interchange improvements. Weekend closures of the ramp from westbound Padonia Road to southbound I-83 for concrete work on the ramp 10 p.m. Friday, March 25 through 5 a.m. Monday, March 28 and again 10 p.m. Friday, April 1, through 5 a.m. Monday, April 4. New
• US 40 Dual Bridges over Little Gunpowder Falls and (Big) Gunpowder Falls -Bridge rehabilitation – Single-lane closures possible on US 40 in the vicinity of the bridges on Saturdays through spring 2022. Eastbound US 40: 7 a.m.  to 4 p.m. Westbound US 40: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Baltimore County   

• Raphael Road overpass at I-95 – MDTA Reconstruction – On March 14, MDTA closed the Raphael Road overpass as part of the I-95 Express Toll Lanes (ETL) Northbound Extension project. The closure will be in place through early 2023 and traffic is being detoured to the Bradshaw Road overpass.   
• I-695 Outer Loop from I-83 North (BHX) to Greenspring Avenue – ITS Underground Installation – Right shoulder closures 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. weekdays for ITS construction by contractor team along Outer Loop Monday, March 28 through Friday, April 1. 
• I-695 Inner/Outer Loop from I-83 North (BHX) to I-95 – Test pit operations – right and left Shoulder Closures 9 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays for test pits by contractor team along Inner and Outer Loop Monday, March 28 through Friday, April 1.
• MD 122 (Security Blvd.) from Rolling Rd. to east of I-695 - Roadway milling, patching and resurfacing – Occasional weeknight single lane closures between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day, Sunday-Thursday as weather permits through late April.
• MD 140 Northbound at Olive Lane / BGE Electric Reliability Project Spring 2022 - Through mid-May 2022, BGE will maintain two through lanes and the left turn lane along northbound MD 140.  Right turns in and out of properties on Olive Lane will be maintained throughout construction. Left turns in and out of Olive Lane and the businesses directly south of Olive Lane will be restricted. BGE will maintain all through lanes along southbound MD 140 through the work zone.   
• MD 151 (North Point Blvd.) from New Battle Grove Road to Cove Road – Highway maintenance pavement patching, milling, and resurfacing with temporary lane closures on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through late June. New
• US 1 (Belair Road) from Chapel Road to Honeygo Boulevard – Highway maintenance pavement patching with temporary lane closures on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through late April. New
• US 1 (Belair Road) from Open Bible Way to north of the Little Gunpowder Falls (Baltimore/Harford County line) - Highway resurfacing project with temporary lane closures on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through late April. New

Carroll County 

• MD 84 (South Clear Ridge Road/Baust Church Road) between MD 75 (Green Valley Road) and MD 832 (Old Taneytown Road) - Roadway maintenance project – Flagging operation Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The project is expected to be complete by the end of the month.
• MD 32 (Sykesville Road) between MD 97 and the Liberty Reservoir – Roadway striping project – For one week, crews will use a mobile operation Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. No lane closures are necessary. 

Charles County       

• Eastbound MD 228 from Middletown Road to Western Parkway- Daytime single lane closures between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays.  

Dorchester County       

• US 50 East and West between Woods Rd and MD 16 (Church Creek Rd) - Utility Work.  Lane and shoulder closures weekdays 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. through July 29 Updated
• US 50 East between Beaver Neck Village Rd and Vincent Rd – Utility work. Lane and shoulder closures weekdays 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. through April.        

Frederick County         

• Eastbound US 340 bridge over Catoctin Creek past MD 180 (Jefferson Pike) exit - Bridge Repairs – The right lane of eastbound US 340 is closed for repairs. The lane closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays. After planking work is complete on that lane, the week of March 21, crews will begin working daytime and overnight hours daily to make the necessary concrete and surface repairs. At least one travel lane on the bridge will be closed around the clock until the project is complete in May. Motorists are advised to take an alternate route during the project to avoid travel delays. Updated               

Harford County          

• US 1 Hickory Bypass from US 1 Business to the northern “T” intersection with US 1 (Conowingo Road). - Highway pavement repair and resurfacing project – Weekday single lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Friday through spring 2022. 
• US 1 Business from the signalized intersection with US 1 Hickory Bypass and the northern “T” intersection with US 1 (Conowingo Road) – Highway maintenance pavement patching – Weekdays single lane closures 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through late spring 2022.

Long-Term Closures

Allegany County 

•  I-68 from Rocky Gap Road to Street Road – Interstate improvements – single lane closures in both directions. Crews will be working from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. – Monday through Friday.  
• MD 51 (Industrial Blvd) from Canal Parkway to Springdale Street – Left lane closures will be in place in both north and south bound directions. Crews will work daily, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., on the section of the roadway between Canal Parkway and Springdale Street.  Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by the end of June.
• MD 51 (Oldtown Road) Bridge over the C&O Canal – Crews will be closing both lanes and creating a single lane in the center of the roadway.  This traffic set up will include a temporary traffic signal alternating traffic through the single lane.  Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by the end of summer. 
• MD 36 (New George’s Creek Road) from the Salt Dome to Barton - Flagging operation for a safety and resurfacing project – Patch, grind, and resurface and apply new pavement markings - Crews will work daily, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Anne Arundel County

• MD 648 between MD 3 and I-97 – Daytime single lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for pavement resurfacing.
• MD 424 between Lang Drive and the Crofton High School entrance – Daytime lane shift from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday for maintenance work.

Baltimore County  

• Cove Road bridge over I-695 - Bridge deck replacement - On I-695, daytime single lane closures in both directions may occur Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and overnight lane closures Sunday-Thursday between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day. On the Cove Road bridge over I-695, long-term single lane closures are in effect, with two-way traffic on the southern (eastbound) side of the bridge deck, through late summer 2022.      
• I-83 (Baltimore-Harrisburg Expressway) North and South Bridges over Padonia Road – Dual Bridge replacement and interchange improvements through summer 2022. There may be single lane closures on I-83 north and I-83 south between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday. Single lane closures on Padonia Rd. West between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and between 8 p.m.  and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday. Detours of Padonia Rd. underneath I-83 possible on any weeknight (Sunday-Thursday) between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next morning. Interchange Ramp from Padonia Road East to I-83 North closed 24 hours/7 days until entire project is complete summer 2022. 
• Note: Spring 2002 - Weekend closures of the ramp from westbound Padonia Road to southbound I-83 for concrete work on the ramp are currently scheduled for the weekends of March 25 and April 1. Updated      
• US 40 Dual Bridges over Little Gunpowder Falls and (Big) Gunpowder Falls – Four bridges to be replaced between White Marsh and Joppatowne – Motorists should expect temporary single lane closures on eastbound and westbound US 40 during the following off-peak times:  Daytime (Monday-Saturday) Westbound US 40: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Eastbound US 40: 7 a.m.  to 4 p.m. Overnight (Sunday-Thursday) Westbound and Eastbound US 40:  7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day. 
• Note: The lanes on the eastbound and westbound US 40 bridges over the (Big) Gunpowder Falls will be split through spring 2022.  Possible Traffic Impact in Harford County.                 
• US 1 (Washington Blvd.) Bridge over CSX Transportation rail lines – Bridge replacement –  Clarke Blvd. at US 1 is closed/detoured 24 hours/7 days through summer 2022.  Posted detour route includes Selford Rd., Francis Ave., Oregon and Carville Aves., Tom Day Blvd. and US 1 Alt. (Southwestern Blvd.)   Project scheduled through late fall 2022.         
• MD 25 (Falls Road) between Baltimore City / County Line and I-695 – Baltimore County DPW water line replacement project - Overnight lane closures with flagging operations along sections of Falls Road, 9 p.m.-5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday, with some daytime work as needed 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through spring 2024.          
• MD 26 (Liberty Road) between Brenbrook Drive and N. Rolling Road - ADA Sidewalk Reconstruction/Upgrades - Temporary single lane closures on MD 26 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday and between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Monday-Thursday through spring 2022.                 
• MD 26 (Liberty Road) between Deer Park Rd. and Pikeswood Rd. - Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Sidewalk reconstruction/upgrades - Temporary single lane closures on MD 26 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Friday through late spring 2022.                        
• MD 43 (White Marsh Blvd.) at Honeygo Blvd. - Intersection widening and improvements - Temporary daytime lane closures on MD 43 and Honeygo Blvd. legs of the intersection between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Friday, and overnight lane closures at any time between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday-Thursday. When necessary, there will be temporary lane closures on weekends, 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday and/or Sunday. Project scheduled through late spring 2022. 
• MD 140 (Reisterstown Road) between I-695 and Mt. Wilson Lane/ Grey Rock Rd. - Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements - includes traffic signal upgrades, crosswalk markings, and paving on MD 140 and also on Hooks Lane at MD 140. Temporary daytime single lane closures on MD 140 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Friday and overnight single lane closures on Hooks Lane approach to MD 140 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next morning Sunday-Thursday through summer 2022. New
• MD 140 (Reisterstown Rd.) between Painters Mill Rd. and E. Pleasant Hill Rd. – Resurfacing/County Water Main replacement - Crews are installing new 36-inch water main from Owings Mills Blvd. to East Pleasant Hill Road with connections to fire hydrants and buildings along MD 140. Daytime single lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. between Owings Mills Blvd. and E. Pleasant Hill Rd.  Nighttime single lane closures within project limits Sunday-Thursday nights between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day.  Access to all driveways in this section will be maintained during any lane closures. Project scheduled through spring 2022. • MD 147 (Harford Road) / Joppa Road - Intersection improvements - Daytime single lane closures and flagging operations on Harford and Joppa Road in the vicinity of the intersection Monday-Thursday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Fridays. Overnight work with lane closures Sunday-Thursday 9 p.m.-5 a.m. the next day. Traffic shift in effect as of Jan. 26 on westbound Joppa Rd. with lanes shifted to the left approaching Harford Rd. Traffic shift and right lane closure in effect along southbound MD 147 from Jomat Avenue to south of Joppa Road, through spring 2022.
• MD 151 (Sparrows Point Blvd.) / Wharf Road (MD 151 B) Interchange - Three-bridge replacement project at interchange.  The southbound side of the existing MD 151 bridge is closed and two-way traffic - one lane in each direction - runs on the northbound side of the bridge. This will be in effect for the next year and will enable partial demolition of the existing bridge over Wharf Road and future construction of the new bridge.  This is in addition to the detours of southbound and northbound Wharf Road at the interchange.  
• Notes: The northbound side of MD 151 is closed between the Baltimore County Highways Maintenance Shop (1500 block) and the Wharf Rd. Interchange.  Two-way traffic runs on the southbound side of MD 151, one lane in each direction. The existing ramp from northbound MD 151 to southbound Wharf Road is open for local traffic only.

Cecil County    

• MD 222, south of Frenchtown Road - MD 222 (Bainbridge Road) will be closed for utility work between Frenchtown Road and South Main Street in Port Deposit beginning February 14 and continuing for approximately 60 days. Detour using MD 275 (Perrylawn Drive) and MD 276 (Tome Highway).         
• MD 279 (Elkton Road) at MD 277 (Fletchwood Road) – Northbound MD 279 is reduced to a single lane at the MD 277 intersection near the Delaware line and shifted across the median to a contraflow pattern (one lane in each direction). This is part of the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDot) reconstruction of route 279.  Updated  

Frederick County

• Northbound US 15 Bridge over MD 77 – Bridge Deck replacement project – The right lane is closed. Each side of the bridge is expected to take six to eight months to finish. The entire project is expected to be complete by spring 2023.      
• I-270 Southbound from MD 121 (Clarksburg Road) to MD 109 (Old Hundred Road) - I-270 acceleration lane expansion project in Montgomery County. Single and multiple off-peak lane closures, weekdays 9:30 a.m.to 3:30 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.  Possible Traffic Impact in Frederick County.

Harford County      

• Old Joppa Road Bridge over I-95 (MDTA project) – Bridge replacement project – Old Joppa Road closed and locally detoured.      
• Clayton Road bridge over I-95 between MD 152 and MD 24 (MDTA project) - Clayton Road closed and detoured until early 2022.       
• I-95/MD 152 Interchange Reconstruction (MDTA project) - Travel lanes on MD 152 at I-95 will be shifted to accommodate reconstruction of the existing interchange. MD 152 traffic will shift from the current location to the outside of the roadway in both directions on MD 152 between Old Mountain Road/Jaycee Drive and MD 7 (Philadelphia Road). All access to and from I-95 will retain its present configuration throughout this phase of construction, which will last through spring 2022.       

Montgomery County

• MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) at Jones Bridge Road/Kensington Parkway Intersection improvement project. Single off-peak lane closures on MD 185, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and single off-peak lane closures on Jones Bridge Road, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, 7 days per week, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late summer 2023.      
• MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) from north of Gold Mine Road to south of Holiday Drive. - Roadway relocation project - Intermittent single northbound and southbound lane closures weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through year-end 2022.   
• MD 410 (East West Highway) from Rocton Avenue to Curtis Street – Curb realignment and sidewalk construction. Single lane closure, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through late spring 2022.           
• I-270 from I-70 to I-495 (Capital Beltway) - Traffic congestion relief construction project - Intermittent single lane closures, weekdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and single, double and triple overnight lane closures, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and intermittent temporary ramp closures with detours up to 24 hours a day through year-end 2022.             
• I-270 Southbound from MD 121 (Clarksburg Road) to MD 109 (Old Hundred Road) - I-270 acceleration lane expansion project. Single and multiple off-peak lane closures, weekdays 9:30 a.m.to 3;30 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. through year-end 2022.            

Prince George’s County      

• US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) - College Ave. to MD 193 (University Boulevard) - US 1 Reconstruction Project - Corridor Improvement- Northbound and southbound single lane closures throughout the length of the project Saturday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. tm. through late summer 2023.         
• MD 5 (Branch Avenue) from the DC Line to the intersection of Curtis Drive - Safety and resurfacing project. • I-70 East and Westbound at the MD 65 Interchange – Bridge rehabilitation and widening of I 70 bridges over MD 65- Left shoulder closed eastbound/westbound long term for phase 1 work. Intermittent, single lane closures at nighttime from Sunday through Thursday between midnight and 5 a.m. on I-70. Additionally, alternating/single lane closures will be performed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., weekdays on MD 65 north and south.
• MD 418 (Ringgold Pike) from MD 64 (Smithsburg Pike) and the Pennsylvania Line - Flagging operation - Patching, grind, pave and replace pavement markings - Crews will work daily, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be complete in early April.
