SHA IMPROVES DRAINAGE ALONG MD 292/MD 566 IN KENT COUNTY

(March 16, 2011) – The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) is improving drainage along MD 292 (Still Pond Road) / MD 566 (Old Still Pond Road) between the MD 566 split at Medders Road and Maple Avenue in Still Pond, Kent County.  The $193,000 project begins the week of March 28 and should be complete by mid-April, weather permitting.

SHA may close a lane between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday on MD 292 / MD 566.  Construction work will affect one-half mile along MD 292 (Still Pond Road) as crews replace the existing drains and inlets on both sides of MD 292 / MD 566.
