The State Highway Administration (SHA) is resurfacing the driving surface of the I-495 (Capital Beltway) Bridge over Northwest Branch (between MD 650 (New Hampshire Avenue) and MD 193 (University Boulevard) in Montgomery County.

Weather permitting, tonight beginning at 10 p.m., SHA will close two left lanes on the Inner Loop of I-495 on the bridge. All lanes will re-open by 5 a.m.

Tomorrow night, November 18, SHA will close two left lanes of the Outer loop of I-495 on the bridge beginning at 10 p.m.  All lanes will re-open by 5 a.m.

On Monday, November 22, SHA will close two right lanes along the Inner Loop of I-495 on the bridge beginning at 10 p.m.  All lanes will re-open by 5 a.m.

SHA appreciates motorists' patience as we improve the driving surface along I-495 on the Northwest Branch Bridge.​
