Weekend Lane Closures Anne Arundel County On-ramp from Oceanic Drive (Exit 32) to eastbound US 50/US 301 (John Hanson Highway) approaching the Chesapeake Bay Bridge - Broadneck Peninsula Summer 2024 Ramp Management Project – This ramp will be closed 10 a.m. Fridays to 6 p.m. Saturdays. This closure will be in effect through Saturday, August 31. Traffic alert available here. I-97 Concrete Patching – Two of three lanes along eastbound I-695 from MD 170 to the I-695 / I-97 interchange split will be closed; and the right lane of the two-lane section of eastbound I-695 will be closed. Drivers encouraged to use MD 100, MD 295, US 1 or I-95. Crews will then work along northbound I-97 between Severn Run / MD 32 interchange and Benfield Boulevard; two of three lanes will be closed. Baltimore County MD 128 (Butler Road) bridge over CSXT Railroad – Weekend Lane Closure/Flagging Operation for Bridge Deck Rehab Work – One lane of the two-lane bridge in Glyndon will be closed with a flagging operation in effect all weekend, between 8 p.m. Friday July 19 and 5 a.m. Monday, July 22. This is the second weekend of two weekends planned. In case of inclement weather, it will be postponed to the weekend of July 26 -29. Traffic alert here. Queen Anne’s County US 50 westbound on-ramps from MD 8 (Exit 37) and Duke St. (Exit 38A), and off-ramp to Duke St. – New dates for Queen Anne’s County Beach to Bridge traffic management plan. Carroll County MD 91 (Emory Rd) bridge over a branch of the Patapsco River and Maryland Midland Railroad – Bridge replacement project – Closure in place for approximately nine months. Detour uses MD 140 and MD 30. MD 140 (Baltimore Blvd) between Sandymount Rd and Bethel Rd - Highway maintenance - Single-lane closure during overnight work from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. The work will be completed next month. Cecil County MD 272 southbound between Russell Street and Irishtown Road and MD 272 northbound between MD 7 (Cecil Avenue) to the bridge over Amtrak – Milling and Patching – Starting Sunday, July 21, crews will work overnight, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays.
