Motorists Asked to Stay Alert, Expect Closures on MD 413 (Crisfield Highway)

(June 21, 2024) The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will assist with moving an oversized structure (house) from Salisbury to Crisfield overnight Monday, June 24 into the early morning of Tuesday, June 25.

Beginning at 10 p.m. Monday, June 24, Expert House Movers Inc. will travel from Beaglin Park Drive in Salisbury, Wicomico County to MD 358 (Jacksonville Road) in Crisfield, Somerset County. Weather permitting, the move is expected to be complete by 6 a.m. on Tuesday. During the transport, motorists can expect temporary closures of MD 413 to accommodate the oversized load.

Drivers are asked to stay alert, focused and be aware of speed limits and driving patterns.  Slow down and move over in work zones.  It’s the law. Motorists in need may dial #77 on their mobile devices for assistance.
