STATE HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION TO PERFORM MAINTENANCE ON DOVER AND CHESTER RIVER BRIDGES
 
Test Openings Will Occur During the Day; Motorists Should Plan for Extra Travel Time

(October 6, 2009) -- Tomorrow, the Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (SHA) is performing its routine maintenance of the MD 331 (Dover Bridge Road) bridge.  On Wednesday, October 21, SHA will also perform work on the MD 213 (Washington Avenue) Bridge in Kent County.
 
There will be several test openings of the bridges during the day between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.  SHA thanks motorists for their patience and reminds them to use caution when driving through the work zone.
