I-695/Providence Rd. Interchange – Highway Maintenance Resurfacing - Beginning Sunday 9/10, Overnight single lane closures and traffic lane shifts on Providence Road may take place Sunday – Thursday nights, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next morning. On Thursday night, 9/14, two interchange ramps scheduled to be closed/detoured at 10 p.m. - until 5 a.m. Friday 9/15:
- Ramp from eastbound I-695 (inner loop) to Providence Road.
- Ramp from Providence Road to eastbound I-695.
- I-195 (Metropolitan Blvd) at MD 166/UMBC Entrance -Single lane closures in the interchange area Mondays through Fridays 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through fall. Traffic alert is available

- MD 147 (Harford Rd.) bridge over I-695 – Bridge Cleaning and Painting – Daytime shoulder closures Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and temporary overnight single and double lane closures Sunday - Thursday, 7 p.m. – 5 a.m. the next day. Interchange ramp lane shifts as needed Sunday – Thursday, 7 p.m. – 5 a.m. the next day. Traffic alert is available

- Northbound I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) ramp to eastbound MD 150 (Eastern Blvd) and northbound MD 157 (Merritt Blvd) ramp to MD 150 (Eastern Blvd). – Ramp milling patching and resurfacing - Overnight ramp closures -Sundays through Thursdays 10 p.m.-5 a.m. with ramp closures and detours in effect.
- US 1 (Washington Blvd.) bridge over CSX Transportation – Bridge Replacement – Temporary lane closures and traffic pattern shifts overnight Sunday through Thursday 7 p.m.to 5 a.m., with daytime temporary lane closures Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through late fall.
- MD 157 (Peninsula Expressway) between north of the drawbridge over Bear Creek and Merritt Boulevard- Highway maintenance asphalt pavement resurfacing –Single lane closures on northbound and southbound MD 157 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday through fall 2023. Calvert County
- Southbound MD 4 between Drury Lane and Town Center Boulevard – Roadway Resurfacing – Nighttime single lane closures from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, Sunday through Thursday night starting September 10th.
Carroll County
- Springfield Ave (MD 851) between Spout Hill Road and Walnut Ave - Drainage improvement project – Single-lane closure during the work hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- MD 97 (New Washington Rd) between MD 26 (Liberty Rd) and the bridge over Morgan Run (south of Nicodemus Rd) - Highway Maintenance – Single-lane closure and flagging operation Sunday night through Thursday night from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
Charles County
- MD 5 between MD 5 Business and Mattawoman Drive – Pavement Resurfacing – Single-lane closures Sunday night through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. Note: A section of the MD 5 park & ride lot is temporarily closed for resurfacing. The loop route will also be resurfaced; traffic will be guided using a flagging operation through Thursday 8/24.
Frederick County
- Eastbound US 340 between Lander Road and US 15 (Catoctin Mountain Highway) - Pavement improvement project – Overnight single lane closures. 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays.
- I-70 between the Washington Co line and the Carroll Co line – Highway Bridge Maintenance - Single-lane closure to patch and resurface areas before and after all I-70 bridges. The schedule is Sunday night through Thursday night with the following hours:
• Westbound lanes: 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• Eastbound lanes: 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Harford County
- MD 22 Aberdeen Thruway/Harford Blvd. – Section 1: West of Mt. Royal Ave, to AMTRAK bridge, includes the ramps from each direction of MD 22 to US 40 and the westbound MD 22 ramps to and from North Rogers Street. Section 2: MD 22 from Old Post Rd. to W. Bel Air Ave/Research Blvd. - Highway Maintenance Resurfacing - Single lane closures on MD 22 and temporary traffic shifts on ramps and turn lanes Sunday –Thursday, 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next morning.
- MD 161 (Darlington Road) bridge over Deer Creek – Bridge side barrier replacement –Overnight closure and detour of the bridge from 9 p.m. Thursday night 9/14 to 5 a.m. 9/15 with a backup date of Sunday night 9/18. Motorists traveling on MD 161 between US 1 (Conowingo Road) and MD 155 (Level Road) may use US 1, MD 136 (Priestford Road) and MD 155 as a detour route.
- MD 7 (Philadelphia Rd.) between Holly Oak Circle and South Stepney Road – Rehabilitation of MD 7 Bridge over Grays Run – Single-lane closure with flagging operations to control two-way traffic Monday – Friday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., and overnight, Sunday – Thursday 8 p.m. - 5 a.m. the next morning, through late summer.
- MD 152 (Fallston Road) from Pocock Road to MD 146 (Jarrettsville Pike) - Highway Maintenance Pavement Resurfacing - Daytime Lane closures, with flagging operations as needed, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday – Friday through late August. Traffic alert is available

- MD 543 (Creswell Rd.) between Wheel Rd. and Goat Hill Rd. – Tree and brush trimming/removal - Temporary shoulder and/or lane closures with flagging operations in effect at any time Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through fall 2023. Traffic alert is available

- I-68 (National Freeway) between Exit 29 MD 546 to the Allegany County Line - Lighting upgrades, traffic barrier installation and paving - Daytime single lane closures both eastbound and westbound. Monday – Friday sunrise to sunset -– through late summer
Anne Arundel County
- MD 100 Safety & Resurfacing Project – Nighttime single lane closures (8 p.m. - 5 a.m., Sundays through Thursdays) between the Howard County line and MD 170. The traffic alert is here.
- MD 2 from the South River Bridge to MD 214 – Nighttime single lane closures, Sunday through Thursday nights, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., and daytime single lane closures, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) / MD 295 (Baltimore Washington Parkway) Interchange – Ramp Resurfacing – Nighttime temporary closures with signed detours, Sunday through Thursday nights, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Garrett County
- US 219 at Cash Valley Road near Red House – Shoulder closures and intermittent single lane closures with a flagging operation – 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Harford County
- MD 161 (Darlington Road) bridge over Deer Creek – Bridge side barrier replacement –This bridge will be reduced from two lanes to one lane 24/7 during bridge rehabilitation work through late fall 2023. A temporary traffic signal control system will direct two-way traffic on one lane of the bridge. Drivers encouraged to use alternate north-south routes going between MD 155 (Level Rd.) and US 1 (Conowingo Rd.) such as MD 136 (Priestford Rd.)
Montgomery County
- MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) at Jones Bridge Road/Kensington Parkway - Intersection improvement project - Single off-peak lane closures on MD 185, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and single off-peak lane closures on Jones Bridge Road, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, 7 days per week, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late summer 2023.
- MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) from north of Gold Mine Road to south of Holiday Drive - MD 97 relocation project. Intermittent off-peak single and multiple lane closures, weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Southbound I-270 between I-70 and I-495 (Capital Beltway) - Traffic congestion relief construction project - Intermittent single lane closures, weekdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and single, double, and triple overnight lane closures, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and intermittent temporary ramp closures with detours up to 24 hours a day through late summer
Prince George’s County
St Mary’s County
- MD 5 between Clark’s Rest and just north of MD 245 - Intersection Improvement Project – Roadway Resurfacing - Nighttime single lane closures for pavement resurfacing between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights. Daytime single lane closures are also permitted 9 a. - 3 p.m., weekdays.
Washington County
- I-68 East and West at Sideling Hill - Paving operation - Right and Left Lane Closures Mon-Thursday, 3pm-5am.
- I-68 East and West at Sideling Hill – Rock Fall Protection Project – long term shoulder closures will be in place with intermittent daytime lane closures.
- I-70 over MD 65 and CSX Phase 2 eastbound and westbound – Bridge rehabilitation and widening of I-70 bridges over MD 65 – Motorists should expect periodic shoulder work and occasional lane closures.
