Motorists Can Expect Single-Lane Closures Through Late April
(April 8, 2022) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will trim trees along a short section of MD 755 (Edgewood Road) in the Edgewood community of Harford County beginning Monday, April 11. The work will be done by late April, weather permitting.
Crews will work weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., between Berg Way and MD 24 (Emmorton Road). During work hours, there will be temporary single-lane closures and center turn-lane closures with flagging operations to control two-way traffic on MD 755.
Contractor Concrete General Inc., of Gaithersburg, is performing the work. Temporary traffic signs, reflective barrels and electronic arrow boards will alert and guide motorists through the work zone on MD 755.
MDOT SHA works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving, and look for reduced speed limits, as well as other driving pattern changes. Please drive like you work here and slow down in construction zones.
Motorists in need may dial #77 on their mobile device for roadside assistance.
