Work is expected to Complete by Mid-December
(December 2, 2021) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will begin repairing deteriorated sections of MD 908 (Skidmore Drive) in Anne Arundel County starting Monday, December 6. Crews will work between MD 179 (Saint Margarets Road) and Oceanic Drive between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., weekdays. Traffic will be directed using a flagging operation. All work is scheduled for completion in mid-December, weather permitting.
MDOT SHA contractor Reliable Contracting Inc. is performing the work. Customers who have questions about this work and state-numbered routes in Anne Arundel County may contact the MDOT SHA District 5 at 410-841-1000 or toll-free at 1-800-331-5603. Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians should remain alert for equipment, work crews and changing traffic patterns.
MDOT SHA works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving, look for reduced speed limits, as well as other driving pattern changes and slow down in construction zones.
Motorists can dial #77 on their mobile device for roadside assistance.
