Overnight Work Includes Pothole Repairs on Bridge over Rosemont Avenue
(November 10, 2021) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will perform work overnight from Sunday, November 14 to Monday, November 15, to improve the driving surface of the Southbound US 15 bridge over Rosemont Avenue in Frederick.
Starting at 9 p.m. Sunday, MDOT SHA crews will close the right lane of southbound US 15 prior to and including exit 14 to Rosemont Avenue. The work, which includes repairing potholes, is expected to be complete by 5 a.m. Monday, weather permitting.
While the overnight work is being performed, motorists will be detoured to exit 13A to eastbound US 40, then take the left-lane exit to northbound US 15 to access the Rosemont Avenue exit.
MDOT SHA works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving, look for reduced speed limits, as well as other driving pattern changes. Please drive like you work here and slowdown in construction zones.
Motorists can dial #77 on their mobile device for roadside assistance.
