Crews Will Work Overnight Thursday Between MD 170 and Hollins Ferry Road
(October 26, 2021) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will perform work one night this week to clear roadside drains along the I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) in Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties. Crews will work overnight, between 9 p.m. Thursday, October 28 and 5 a.m. Friday, October 29. All work is weather permitting.
During the overnight hours, crews will use a mobile operation along the I-695 northbound left shoulder between MD 170 and Hollins Ferry Road. This will require a single left lane closure on the Inner Loop of I-695. Drivers should remain alert for equipment, work crews and changing traffic patterns.
Customers who have questions about this work may contact the MDOT SHA District 5 at 410-841-1000 or toll-free at 1-800-331-5603.
MDOT SHA works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving and look for reduced speed limits. Please drive like you work here and slow down in construction zones.
Motorists can dial #77 on their mobile device for roadside assistance.
