Public Encouraged to Attend Informational Meeting on MD 124 Widening Project Between Airpark Road and Rosewood Manor Lane in Montgomery County          
          
WHO: State Highway Administration (SHA) representatives

WHAT: SHA will host an Open House to inform the public with the upcoming project schedule and construction plans to widen MD 124 to a six-lane roadway between Airpark Road and Rosewood Manor Lane in Montgomery County. Displays will be available, explaining the anticipated impact on traffic during the construction. SHA representatives will be available to answer any questions or concerns. There will be no formal presentation.          
          
WHEN: Thursday, January 17, 2008 between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

WHY: SHA is planning to widen MD 124 to a six-lane roadway between Airpark Road and Rosewood Manor Lane in Montgomery County. The improvements will include bike paths, ADA compliant sidewalks, new traffic signals and lighting. This design/build project began in fall 2007; construction is scheduled to begin this spring.
