I-70 sign
(March 4, 2021) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will perform unscheduled repairs to I-70 Bridge Eastbound at exit 52B, US 15 (Jefferson National Pike) over the next several hours due to a deck puncture.
The right lane will be closed while crews make repairs, which is expected to be until at least 11 p.m. tonight. Motorists are urged to avoid this area and make alternate commute arrangements.
MDOT SHA works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on driving and, look for reduced speed limits, as well as other driving pattern changes. Drive like you work here and slow down in construction zones.
