Baltimore County
 
  • MD 45 (York Road) between north of Padonia Road and Wight Avenue – Resurfacing/Water main replacement – Single and double lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.


Carroll County

  • MD 832 (Old Taneytown Road) between MD 140 (Taneytown Pike) and MD 84 (Baust Church Road) - Patch and resurface – Single lane closure with flagging operation Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This project is expected to be complete by May. 
 
Frederick County

  • MD 103 (Dorsey Run Road) between US 1 (Washington Boulevard) and the Howard/Anne Arundel County line – Patching and Resurface – Starting Monday, April 6, flagging operation and lane shift Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Resurfacing will be performed at night from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. in May. This project is expected to be complete by the end of May. 
  • MD 550 between Browns Quarry Road and the Washington County line – Patch and resurface – Single lane closure with flagging operation Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This project is expected to be complete by May. 
  • MD 85 (Buckeystown Pike) at I-270 – Beam placement – Single lane closures and traffic stoppages up to 15 minutes at a time in both directions from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, April 5 through Wednesday, April 8; Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16; and Sunday, April 19 through Wednesday, April 22. New


Howard County
 
  • MD 94 (Woodbine Road) between the Montgomery County line and MD 144 (Frederick Road) – Patching – A flagging operation is in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This project is expected to be complete by May. 
  • MD 103 (Dorsey Road) between US 1 (Washington Boulevard) and the Howard/Anne Arundel County line – Patching and Resurface – Flagging operation and lane shift Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Resurfacing will be performed at night from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. in May. This project is expected to be complete by the end of May.

Montgomery/Prince George’s County

Prince George’s County

  • I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) from Pennsylvania Avenue (exit 11B-A) to Allentown Road (exit 9) – Bridge Deck Pour -  2 left lanes will remain closed starting Tuesday, March 30th.  Work will continue everyday except Sundays, until April 18th. New
  • MD 210 (Indian Head Highway) from Palmer Road to Wilson Bridge Drive – Intersection Improvement Project – Traffic will shift  on northbound MD 210 (Indian Head Highway) as crews will soon begin work on the ramps that go from MD 210 to the new interchange.  One lane will close at 9 a.m. and two lanes will close at 11 a.m. on northbound MD 210 (Indian Head Highway) from Palmer Road to Wilson Bridge Drive. One lane of northbound MD 210 will be open during the closure. Progress permitting, all lanes will be reopened by 6 p.m. New
  • ​MD 4 (Pennsylvania Avenue) from Forestville Road to the I-495 (Capital Beltway) bridge – Resurfacing -  Weekday single lane closures, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and overnight double lane closures, Sunday through Saturday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late spring 2020
  • MD 5 (Branch Avenue) at MD 373 (Accokeek Road)/MD 381 (Brandywine Road) – Interchange construction project -  Intermittent lane closures on all three roads, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late spring 2020
  • MD 193 (Enterprise Road) from Woodgate Way/Marleigh Drive to Lisborough Road– ADA ramp improvement project -  Single northbound and southbound lane closures with detour, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through late spring 2020. Drivers should use the signed detour route of Meadowland Drive, Lisborough Road and Lisborough Terrace).

St. Mary’s County

  • MD 5 between Camp Brown Road and the Point Lookout State park entrance – Utility Relocation -  flagging operation between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
 
Worcester County
 
  • MD 90 (Ocean City Expressway) between US 50 (Ocean Gateway) and MD 528 (Coastal Highway) – Guardrail, lighting and overhead signage repair. On Tuesday between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m., MD 90 eastbound will be closed, and on Wednesday, MD 90 westbound will be closed 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. new 
 
Long-Term Closures

Allegany County

  • MD 36 (Mt. Savage Road) Bridge over Jennings Run –Bridge Replacement – MD 36 is closed and detoured until spring 2020.
  • MD 51 (Industrial Blvd) bridge over MD 61 (Canal Parkway)–Bridge Replacement – Long-term continuous left lane closures will be in effect on both directions of MD 51.  Traffic will be shifted to the northbound lanes once the crossover work in the median is complete. New

Anne Arundel County

  • MD 450 between S. Southwood Avenue and the Taylor Avenue roundabout–Traffic Shift – Single lane in each direction, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.
  • Westbound MD 175 (Annapolis Road/Jessup Road) between National Business Parkway and MD 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway) – Utility relocation – Single lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • MD 424 between Duke of Kent Drive and MD 450 (Defense Highway) - Improvement project – flagging operation near Neumann Way between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., weekdays
  • Westbound MD 175 (Annapolis Road/Jessup Road) between National Business Parkway and MD 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway) – Utility relocation – Single lane closures Sunday nights through Friday mornings from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Baltimore City
 
  • HIGH-IMPACT - I-895 (Baltimore Harbor Tunnel Throughway) between the tunnels and Boston Street/O’Donnell Street (exit 11) and the Holabird Avenue exit (MDTA Project) – Bridge rehabilitation project – The southbound bore of the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel (I-895) will be closed continuously until mid-June.  The southbound bore will close at 8:30p.m. on Friday, April 3, until approximately June 19. Baltimore County
 
  • HIGH-IMPACT - Outer loop of I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) ramp to MD 144 (Frederick Road) – Ramp reconstruction/storm drain and electrical work for highway widening project – Ramp to close at 9 p.m. on August 5 for approximately eight months. Motorists will be guided to the I-695/MD 372 (Wilkens Avenue) interchange and motorists will use the ramps to access the inner loop of I-695 back to MD 144. Single and double lane closures along I-695 South and North (Outer and Inner Loops) between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday - Thursday. Updated
  • MD 140 (Reisterstown Rd.) between Painters Mill Rd. and Pleasant Hill Rd. –Resurfacing/County Water Main replacement - Single lane closures along northbound and southbound MD 140 from Painters Mill Road to Owings Mills Blvd. Sunday – Thursday between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. the next morning.  Installing new 36-inch water main from Rosewood Lane to Owings Mills Blvd. Access to all driveways in this section will be maintained during the overnight closures.  New and Updated
  • MD 132 (West Bel Air Ave.) between US 40 (Philadelphia Blvd./Pulaski Hwy.) and MD 462 (Paradise Ave.) - Roadway resurfacing - Single lane and shoulder/parking lane closures on MD 132 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday - Thursday and single lane and shoulder/parking lane closures when needed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday – Friday.
  • MD 45 (York Road) between north of the Towson Roundabout and Cavan Drive - Roadway Resurfacing – Rolling single lane closures along northbound or southbound MD 45 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday - Friday for final line striping and installation of reflective pavement markers.
  • MD 140 (Reisterstown Road) and Old Court Road – BGE Reisterstown Road Electric Reliability Upgrade. 24-hour lane closure on northbound MD 140 through late April; both southbound lanes open with driveways to shopping centers detoured to rear entrances. 24-hour prohibition on left turns on Reisterstown Road at Old Court Road through late April. Updated
  • US 1 Business (Broadway) between Main St. and Hickory Ave. – Roadway resurfacing - Single lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday - Friday, and between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday - Thursday.  New

  • Eastbound Padonia Road ramp to northbound I-83 – Ramp closure for bridge replacement project – Motorists will be guided to Deerco Road to the I-83/Timonium Road interchange. Daytime lane closures on Padonia Rd.  9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday – Friday, 8 p.m. - 5 a.m. Sunday – Thursday.   Night time lane closures on I-83 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. the next day Sunday – Thursday.
  • MD 140 (Reisterstown Rd.) North between Painters Mill Rd. and Garrison View Rd. – Roadway Widening and Resurfacing - Single and double lane closures along Sundays - Thursdays between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next morning. Occasional single lane closures Monday – Friday for a two-hour time period within the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
  • US 1 (Belair Road) between I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) and Still Meadow Road – Roadway resurfacing – Single lane closures on southbound US 1 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. New
  • MD 140 (Reisterstown Rd.) between Painters Mill Rd. and Pleasant Hill Rd. – Underground water line work – Beginning Tuesday, March 31, 24 hour single lane closures on northbound and southbound MD 140 for underground water line work between Painters Mill Road and the CSX Transportation railroad line overpass, in effect all week between 7 p.m. Sunday and 5 p.m. Friday.  No lane closures in this section on weekends between 5 p.m. Friday and 7 p.m. Sunday.  Access to all driveways in this section will be maintained during 24 hour lane closures.   New 
  • MD 150 (Eastern Ave.) between the bridge over Back River and the intersection with Mace Avenue/Riverside Drive - Resurfacing/Water main replacement – Single lane closures on eastbound and MD 150 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday – Friday, and between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day, Sunday – Thursday. Updated
  • I-70 East and West Bridges over Patapsco River and CSX Transportation railroad line - Bridge parapet rehabilitation – Beginning April 1st, Single lane closures on I-70 East and West in the vicinity of the bridges (Baltimore/Howard Co. line) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday - Friday and single and double lane closures between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday - Thursday. 
  • US 40 (Pulaski Hwy.) Dual Bridges over the Gunpowder Falls and the Little Gunpowder Falls (Baltimore/Harford Co. Line) - Bridge rehabilitation - Single lane closures on US 40 East between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday – Friday, and on US 40 West between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday - Friday. Updated


Carroll County 
  • MD 32 (Sykesville Road) between Main Street and Macbeth Way – Road widening project – Both shoulders are closed and traffic shifted with a barrier wall on northbound MD 32 until summer 2020.

Cecil County
  • MD 273 (Telegraph Road) Bridge over Big Elk Creek – Bridge replacement project – Temporary traffic signal to alternate traffic in single lane until spring 2020.

Charles County
  • MD 234 and Glasva School Road – Bridge railing repair – Crews will close access at the southern end of Glasva School Road and detour traffic to northbound US 301 with access restricted to local residents. Detour in effect through late spring.

Frederick County
  • MD 28 (Dickerson Road) Bridge over the Monocacy River – Bridge rehabilitation– Single lane closure (24/7) guided by temporary traffic signal until summer 2020. A total bridge closure is scheduled on Friday, April 3 at 10 p.m. through Monday, April 6 at 5 a.m. 
  • MD 464 (Point of Rocks Road) Bridge over Little Catoctin Creek – Bridge replacement project – Total closure until early 2020. Motorists will be guided around the bridge project using Olive School Road to MD 180 (Jefferson Pike) to MD 17 (Petersville Road). A temporary traffic signal will be installed at MD 180 (Jefferson Pike) and Olive School Road prior to the closure.
  • MD 103 (Dorsey Run Road) between US 1 (Washington Boulevard) and the Howard/Anne Arundel County line – Patching and Resurface – Starting Monday, April 6, flagging operation and lane shift Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Resurfacing will be performed at night from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. in May. Harford County

  • Old Joppa Road Bridge over I-95 (MDTA project) – Bridge replacement project – Old Joppa Road closed and locally detoured.
  • MD 132 (West Bel Air Ave.) between US 40 (Philadelphia Blvd./Pulaski Hwy.) and MD 462 (Paradise Ave.) - Roadway resurfacing - Single lane and shoulder/parking lane closures on MD 132 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday - Thursday and single lane and shoulder/parking lane closures when needed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday - Friday.
  • MD 22 (Churchville Road) between MD 136 (Calvary Rd.) and Prospect Mill Rd. - Roadway resurfacing and intersection widening -  Single lane closures/lane shifts on MD 22 at Thomas Run Rd./Shucks Rd. intersection between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday - Friday, and between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday - Thursday and between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturdays when necessary.
  • US 1 Business (Broadway) between Main St. and Hickory Ave. - Roadway resurfacing - Single lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday - Friday, and between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next day Sunday - Thursday. New

Howard County
  • Triadelphia Road Bridge over MD 32 – Highway widening project – Eastbound Triadelphia Road will be closed and detoured until summer 2020. Westbound Triadelphia Road will be able to use existing bridge.

Montgomery County

  • HIGH-IMPACT – I-495 bridge over the Potomac River (American Legion Bridge) – Steel beam work. Crews are permitted to close one lane in either direction of I-495 weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through early spring.
  • MD 28 (Norbeck Road) between MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) and Baileys Lane – Intersection improvements – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
  • MD 124 (Quine Orchard Road) from Dosh Drive to MD 117 (Clopper Road/West Diamond Avenue) – Bicycle/ pedestrian improvements - Intermittent single daytime lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through late summer 2020.
  • US 29 (Colesville Road) between MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) and St. Andrews Way (near Sligo Creek Parkway) - Resurfacing – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
  • MD 187 (Old Georgetown Road) from I-495 (Capital Beltway) to Johnson Street- Safety and resurfacing project – . Intermittent daytime single lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., through year-end 2020.
  • MD 188 (Wilson Lane) from Aberdeen Road to Moorland Road - ADA ramp improvement project– Intermittent single eastbound and westbound lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through late spring 2020
  • MD 190 (River Road) northbound ramp to the inner loop of I-495 (Capital Beltway) - Drainage improvement project– Single northbound lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through late spring 2020.
  • MD 193 (University Boulevard) from Arcola Avenue to US 29 (Colesville Road) - Roadway resurfacing project– Single eastbound and westbound lane closures, weekdays, 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through late spring 2020.
  • Inner loop of I-495 (Capital Beltway) bridge over Cabin John Creek/Parkway (exit 40) - Emergency drainage pipe repair project– Right shoulder and single right lane closures up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through mid-spring 2020.
  • MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) between north of Goldmine Road and south of Holiday Drive - Bypass construction – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. 
  • MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) between MD 410 (East-West Highway) and Manor Road – Resurfacing project – Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and Sunday nights through Friday mornings between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
  • Inner loop of I-495 (Capital Beltway) bridge over Cabin John Creek/Parkway (exit 40) -  Emergency drainage pipe repair project -  Right shoulder and single right lane closures up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through mid-spring 2020. New

Prince George’s County
  • Kerby Hill Road/Livingston Road intersections at MD 210 (Indian Head Highway) – Interchange construction project – Crossover from Kerby Hill Rd. to Livingston Rd. across MD 210 to close and be detoured. Click here for detour routes. Crews construction bridge that will connect the roads and will be complete by the end of 2021. 
  • Southbound I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) ramp to eastbound MD 214 (Central Avenue) – Bridge replacement project – Total ramp closure with traffic using the Capital Beltway/MD 202 (Largo Road) interchange and then to MD 214 via MD 202.

Washington County

  • 1-70 East and West bound at the MD 65 Interchange at Exit 29– Bridge rehabilitation and widening – Alternating East and West bound lane closures. Work continues daily between 7:00 am – 6:00 pm. Monday – Thursday nightwork will be done from 6:00 pm – 5:00 am. This will be continuous throughout the project. Updated
