(August 19, 2019) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is currently performing emergency repairs on MD 80 (Fingerboard Road) at MD 75 (Green Valley Road) near Urbana in Frederick County after Sunday night’s storm caused extensive damage to nine utility poles.

The eastern intersection of MD 80 and MD 75 will reopen this afternoon while the western intersection is expected to reopen by Tuesday morning’s rush hour. MDOT SHA is using signs, traffic barrels and cones to detour motorists around the closure as Potomac Edison makes the emergency repairs.
