SHA will host a pre-construction MD 237 Open House in St. Mary’s County. It will be an informal, self-paced workshop. Interested citizens may walk through at their leisure (anytime between           
6 p.m. and 8 p.m.) and view project displays, talk with project managers/engineers and provide comments and feedback on the project.

WHY:           
The MD 237 upgrade and widening project will last approximately three years. As a design-build project, design work began in fall 2007. Utility work is now underway and major construction will begin in May 2008. Area residents, business owners, employees and commuters are encouraged to attend this workshop for the latest project details and to meet the local project management team.
