Through Traffic Detoured; Road Remains Open to Local Traffic Only

 

(January 24, 2019) – This evening Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) crews are closing Falls Road (MD 25) between Seminary and Padonia roads in emergency response to a large, falling tree.  The closure will remain in effect through Saturday so utility crews can safely remove the tree.  The road will remain open to local traffic only, and a detour will be in effect for through traffic.

 

 

 

Drivers along Falls Road, York Road and nearby corridors are urged to use caution, and plan extra time for travel, especially during the morning rush hour tomorrow.  Please stay alert for work crews in the area.
