MDOT SHA TO CLOSE CRYSTAL FALLS DRIVE FOR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS

(July 24, 2018) - This week, the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) will close a portion Crystal Falls Drive in Smithsburg, Washington County, to make drainage improvements.

Crystal Falls Drive will be closed between MD 64 (Jefferson Pike) and Cavetown Church Road. A detour will be in place utilizing Cavetown Church Road and MD 64. The road is expected to be closed for approximately one month. Motorists are advised to allow extra time to reach their destinations. For real-time traffic updates, please visit www.md511.org.
