• Southbound I-95 Bridge over the Patapsco River – Bridge deck repairs – Double lane closures on southbound I-95 Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

 

 

• Eastbound I-70 between MD 27 (Ridge Road) and MD 94 (Woodbine Road) – Concrete patching – Single right lane closure beginning at 9 a.m. Friday and double lane closure at 9 p.m.  This will happen all weekend and create MAJOR delays.  Use MD 26, US 40 and MD 144 as alternate routes.  All lanes will open by 5 a.m. Monday or as soon as the concrete comes to proper strength. 

• Guilford Road Bridge over southbound I-95 – Routine bridge inspection – Single right lane closure on southbound I-95 Saturday from 4 a.m. until 12 noon. 

• Eastbound and westbound MD 32 Bridge over southbound I-95 – Routine bridge inspection – Single right lane closure on southbound I-95 Saturday from 4 a.m. until 12 noon. 

• I-495 (Capital Beltway) Bridge over Stoneybrook Road/Jones Bridge Road (between MD 185 and Seminary Road) – Bridge joint repairs – Double lane closures Sundays through Thursday from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. through November 20.

• Northbound and southbound MD 355 (Wisconsin Avenue) between MD 410 (East-West Boulevard) and MD 191 (Bradley Boulevard) – Contractor utility relocation work – Double lane closures on Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

• MD 124 (Quince Orchard Road) between Orchard Ridge Road and MD 355 (Frederick Road) – Resurfacing – Single and double lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. (is permitted to go later- 8 a.m., traffic permitting)

• MD 27 (Ridge Road) between Sunset Drive and MD 80 (Kemptown Road) – Patching - Single lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• MD 117 (Clopper Road) from Longdraft Street to I-270 - Resurfacing - Double lane closures Sundays through Fridays from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and single lane closures weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• MD 193 (University Boulevard) between US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) and Campus Way – Resurfacing – Single lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. and week days between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

• MD 198 (Sandy Spring Road) between Riding Stable Road and I-95 – Resurfacing – Single lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• MD 147 (Harford Road) at Glen Arm Road/Mt. Vista Road – Roundabout construction – Mt. Vista Road leg of intersection is closed and detoured.  The detour is Sunshine Avenue to US 1 (Belair Road.) 

 

• MD 222 Bridge over Rock Run – Bridge replacement – Total closure and detour for ten weeks.  Project will be completed early November.  Road to reopen by mid-December.

• MD 195 (Carroll Avenue) between Jefferson Avenue and Flower Avenue (MD 195 Bridge over Sligo Creek and Parkway) - Bridge rehabilitation – Bridge to closed and traffic detoured for one year. 

 

• MD 54 (Delmar Road) Bridge over Mockingbird Creek - Bridge replacement – Bridge closed and traffic detoured for ten weeks.  Bridge should reopen mid-December.

 

• MD 349 (Nanticoke Road) Bridge over Windsor Creek - Bridge replacement – Bridge to close and traffic to be detoured for ten weeks.  Bridge should reopen early-December.

• MD 12 (Snow Hill Road) near Nassawango Road – Washout – Closed and detoured until late-fall.  Work should be complete mid-late next week.

 

 

• I-895 (Harbor Tunnel Thruway) Bridge over the Patapsco River (Patapsco Flats) (MDTA project) – Bridge rehabilitation – Reduced lanes. 

• Inner loop of I-695 at Old Harford Road (Between MD 41/Perring Parkway and MD 147 (Harford Road) – Concrete bridge deck pour – Single lane closure at 9 p.m., double lane closure at 10 p.m. Monday until 5 a.m. Tuesday.

• Inner loop of I-695 at I-95 (northeast/exit #33) – Beltway paving (MDTA Express Toll Lane Project) – Total inner loop I-695 closure and detour using I-95 and MD 43 (Whitemarsh Boulevard) on Monday and Tuesday from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• Outer loop of I-695 at I-95 (northeast/exit #33) – Beltway paving (MDTA Express Toll Lane Project) – Total outer loop I-695 closure and detour using I-95 and MD 43 (Whitemarsh Boulevard) on Wednesday and Thursday from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• Outer loop I-695 at the Bridge over Northeast Creek (prior to MD 702) – Bridge rehabilitation – Nighttime outer loop closure and detour between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sundays through Fridays.  SHA will direct outer loop traffic to MD 150 (Eastern Avenue) to MD 702 and back to the outer loop.  This project should be complete late-fall. 

 

• MD 404 between US 50 and the Town of Denton – Dualization – Single daytime and night time lane closures.

• MD 273 (Telegraph Road) at Appleton Road – Roundabout construction – Single lane closures with a flagging operation 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

• Westbound US 40 (Pulaski Highway) between MD 222 (Perryville Road) and MD 272 (North East Road) – Resurfacing – Single lane and shoulder closures from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays.

• US 40 Alternate (Main Street) between Ivy Hill Drive and Middletown Parkway – Streetscape project – Single lane closures with a flagging operation Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

• MD 27 (Ridge Road) between the Frederick County line and the Montgomery County line – Resurfacing - Single lane closures with flagging operation Sundays through Thursdays between 9 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• MD 355 (Rockville Pike) from Templeton Place to Hubbard Drive – Resurfacing – Single and double lane closures Sundays through Thursdays between 7 a.m. and 5 a.m.

• MD 117 (Clopper Road) from Longdraft Street to I-270 – Resurfacing – Single lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• MD 201 (Kenilworth Avenue) between I-95/I-495 and Cherrywood Lane - Resurfacing – Single and double lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

• Westbound US 50 (John Hanson Highway) between the Anne Arundel County line and Lottsford Vista Road – Pavement patching – Double lane closures Sundays through Thursdays between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

• US 13 (Salisbury Bypass) near the US 50 interchange – Traffic pattern change/bidirectional traffic using median for bridge deck project – Click here for information and schedule of project.
