• I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) at MD 170 (Camp Meade Road) – Bridge repair – Double lane closures on the inner loop and outer loop of I-695 Sunday through Thursday from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

 

• MD 710 (East Ordinance Road)at Pennington Avenue – Concrete patching – Closure and detour beginning 8 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Sunday

• MD 198 (Laurel Bowie Road) at Bald Eagle Drive – Utility work – Road will be closed and detoured beginning at 11 p.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Sunday.

 

• MD 7 (Philadelphia Road) between Rossville Boulevard and Golden Ring Road – Resurfacing/Concrete bus pads – Single lane closures beginning Friday until 6 a.m. Sunday.

• Inner loop I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) ramp to southbound MD 147 (Harford Road) – Interchange reconstruction – Ramp closures and detour beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday. 

• Northbound I-95 Bridge over the Patapsco River/CSX Railroad – Routine bridge inspection – Single lane closures Sunday between 4 a.m. and 12 noon.

 

 

• MD 140 (Taneytown Pike) between Royer Road and Mayberry Road – Resurfacing – Single lane closures Sundays through Thursday between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

 

• Northbound US 15 at westbound MD 26 (Liberty Road) – Bridge replacement project/Concrete barrier placement – Left lane to be closed at 10 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday. If weather is an issue, the lane closure will occur on Saturday into Sunday at the same times. 

 

• Southbound I-270 between I-70 and MD 85 (Buckeystown Pike) – Resurfacing – Single lane closures Sundays through Thursday from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• MD 175 at I-95 – Bridge approach patching – Single lane closures Sundays through Fridays between 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. 

• Eastbound and westbound US 40 (Baltimore National Pike) between US 29 (Columbia Pike) and Centennial Lane - Resurfacing – Single lane closure from 10 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday. 

• Southbound MD 32 between MD 108 and the Middle Patuxent River Bridge – Resurfacing – Single lane closures Sundays through Thursday between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

 

 

• Inner loop I-495 between the western I-270 spur and Seminary Avenue (near MD 185) – Resurfacing - Double lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.

• MD 193 (University Boulevard) between Williamsburg Drive and Franklin Avenue – Resurfacing - Double lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• Southbound I-95 (inner loop of I-495) near MD 450 (Annapolis Road) – Bridge repair - Triple lane closures on SB I-95. Single lane closure will begin Sunday at 7 p.m. with double and triple lanes between 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• MD 5 (Branch Avenue) between MD 223 (Woodyard Road) and Surrats Road – Resurfacing/Patching – Single lane closures between 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays.

• Eastbound US 50 between Lottsford Vista Road and the Anne Arundel County Line – Resurfacing - Double lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• I-95 between I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) and MD 212 (Old Gunpowder Road) - Resurfacing – Single northbound lane closure beginning 10:30 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Saturday.  Also - double lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

 

• MD 222 Bridge over Rock Run – Bridge replacement – Total closure and detour for ten weeks.  Project will be completed mid-October.

• MD 195 (Carroll Avenue) between Jefferson Avenue and Flower Avenue (MD 195 Bridge over Sligo Creek and Parkway) - Bridge rehabilitation – Bridge to closed and traffic detoured for one year beginning at 10 a.m. Monday. 

• I-895 (Harbor Tunnel Thruway) Bridge over the Patapsco River (Patapsco Flats) (MDTA project) – Bridge rehabilitation – Reduced lanes.  Click here for more information.

 

• MD 147 (Harford Road) at I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) – Interchange reconstruction – On Thursday, September 1, SHA will switch traffic to the new single ramp that will take the inner loop of I-695 to a traffic signal on top of the ramp which will enable traffic to access northbound and southbound MD 147.  The loop ramp to northbound MD 147 will be closed.

• Outer loop I-695 at the Bridge over Northeast Creek (prior to MD 702) – Bridge rehabilitation – Nighttime total closures of the outer loop of I-695.  Traffic will be detoured to MD 150 (Eastern Avenue) to northbound MD 702 and back to the outer loop of I-695.  This will begin August 31 and continue to September 15.  The closures hours will be 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.  There will be no closures on Labor Day weekend.

 

 

• MD 27 (Ridge Road) between MD 140 (Baltimore Boulevard) and MD 26 (Liberty Road) – Patching - Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

 

• Eastbound US 340 between MD 17 (Burkittsville Road) and Lander Road – Resurfacing – Single lane closures from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.

 

• MD 165 (Baldwin Mill Road) between MD 152 (Fallston Road/Mountain Road) and MD 23 (East-West Highway) – Pavement repair/patching – Single lane closures from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. and occasional Saturdays from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. 

• I-68 (National Freeway) between US 219 and Shade Hollow Road – Resurfacing – Single lane closures from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.

 

• US 40 Alt. (National Pike) between US 219 (Chestnut Ridge Road) and Green Lantern Road – Resurfacing – Single lane closures with flagging operations between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.

 

 

• Outer loop of I-495 (Capital Beltway) at MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue) – Concrete bridge deck patching – Monday through Thursday. Single lane closures at 9 p.m., double lanes at 10 p.m. and triple lane closures at 11 p.m. All lanes opening by 5 a.m. each, morning.

 

 

• MD 704 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Highway) between Ardwick-Ardmore Road and 92nd Avenue - Resurfacing - Single lane closures Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. 

 

• Us 1 Alternate (Bladensburg Road) between the Washington D.C. line and the Anacostia River Bridge - Resurfacing - Single lane closures Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

 

• US 340 between the Potomac River Bridge and the Frederick County line – Pavement repair and restriping to lengthen acceleration lanes - Single lane closures with flagging beginning Wednesday, August 31 until Mid-September from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays.

 

• Eastbound I-70 at I-68 (National Freeway) – Traffic pattern shift for bridge replacement project – Traffic shifts beginning Monday between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.

 

• I-70 between MD 56 (Big Pool Road) and Boyd Road – Resurfacing – Single lane and shoulder closures Sundays through Thursday from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. 

 

• Northbound I-81 between I-70 and Halfway Boulevard – Merge/auxiliary lane construction – Narrow and shortened ramps.
