(July 13, 2016) - As part of the Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration’s (SHA) major drainage improvement project on US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) between Ammendale Road and Ritz Way in Laurel, crews will begin the last part of the project and begin final resurfacing on Thursday night, weather permitting.  SHA’s contractor will close one lane in each direction of US 1 Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. each morning.  Crews may also close a single lane weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.  The project should be complete by late-August, Weather permitting.
